How to build your body muscle

BUILD YOUR BODY MUSCLE

Why do we start going gym?

What makes us motivated to start body building?

Many people will answer, ” in order to stay fit and healthy”.

But, does every one thinks the same way?

I guess not! when I started body building my main aim was getting huge.

Having big biceps, great chest, v shape back and most importantly abs to show off.

6 things you should know when you start to build your body muscle

1. Have patience while building your body muscle

Most of the beginners feel demotivated, if they don’t see the results they wanted in a month. And might even leave bodybuilding thinking it is not worth.

Building your body muscles takes time. Usually, few months until you start noticing some really good changes.

Don’t feel demotivated, just keep going. You will see the results soon.

2. Don’t START and STOP

If you are working out 6 months a year and other 6 months you are resting. trust me! you will hardly see any changes in your body.

You work out the first month, the next month you rest. That’s not how bodybuilding works.

You might feel great when you have finished an exercise but if not done regularly you will see less or no changes at all.

I was doing the same mistake, and have seen many people doing it too.

3. Challenge yourself when you are trying to build your body muscle

Going to the gym and lifting the same weight for 3 months won’t benefit you much. Because lifting the same weight makes the exercise easier and you are not going hard enough

You need to aim for more. increase the weight a little every week or two.

For instance , if you can do 15 reps bench press in your last set using 30kg, increase 5 – 10kg more and better do 12 reps. For your safety, ask for help if you are trying to increase weight.

4. Change your workout while building your body muscle

Stop working out the same way every week, because your body needs a change, so try doing it differently every week. Keep the main ones in the list, like bench press, squats, dead lift.

For instance, there are more than 20 back workouts, and you can’t do all at once. Try to divide them. If you are doing dumbbells incline today, than do dumbbells decline the next week.

You should not let your body get used to same routine, as it reduces the growth rate.

5. Take a rest

Remember ! resting is part of bodybuilding. Take one or two days rest every week.

Having a proper rest repairs and grows your body muscles. And It is during your sleep where growth hormone are at their highest.

6. Learn the correct movements when trying to build your body muscle

The most common mistake i see people doing are the wrong body building movements.

You are targeting your biceps, but instead of keeping your biceps steady, you are swinging your biceps and your whole body with it. That’s more like dancing than body building.

Start with less weights and try to perfect your movements, and once you see your movements improving increase the weights.

Learn the correct movement using YouTube videos or Instagram and face book videos and ask the trainer or other people working out at the gym.

I’d like to build up my core muscles! My brother is also struggling with wanting to put on some weight/muscle (he is a tall string bean) so I will pass this article onto him.

These are some good tips, I first need to build up my body fat before building up my body muscles, so until that time I am not going to the gym but working out at home, slowly 😀
